Crank Pranks is a Hands-On Mobile service that delivers hilarious recorded prank messages to your friend’s phone.

How are Crank Pranks delivered to my mobile phone?

Crank Pranks (prank calls) are delivered to your mobile phone through an automated voice system that rocks.

Will the service work on my phone?

You must have mobile service that includes text messaging with one of the following carriers: Alltel, Cingular, Dobson, Sprint, Verizon, Nextel or Boost.

Will the service work on a landline phone?

Heck, yeah! You can send prank calls to people with landline phones but you need a mobile phone to order and send Crank Pranks.

What if a voicemail system or answering machine answers the call?

If an answering machine or voice mail system picks up the call, our system will attempt to leave the message on the person’s machine, however because there are many different voice mail systems, messages may be partially delivered. Charges will occur for completed or partially completed messages.

Is Crank Pranks a subscription service?

No, Crank Pranks is not a subscription service. You can send Crank Pranks on a pay-per-use basis.

How much do Crank Pranks cost?

This depends on how many victims you choose to prank. You can send a prank to up to 3 victims.

How do I get charged for the service?

You will be charged through your wireless carrier. Your Crank Pranks charges will appear on your monthly wireless bill.

Using the Crank Pranks Service

How do I send a prank to a victim from the website?

From the web:

1. Select a prank
2. Select Prank Now
3. Enter your victim’s phone number. You can enter up to three at a time.
4. Enter your mobile phone number and click next.
5. We will text message you a special PIN number to your mobile phone.
6. Enter this PIN number on the website, accept the Terms and click Next.

How do I send a prank to a victim from my phone?

There are two ways to send pranks from your phone.

From the WAP site (you must have a data plan and a mobile browser):

1. Open you mobile browser and go to http://crankpranks.com
2. Select “All Pranks” or “Top 5”
3. Select the prank you want
4. Select Send Prank
5. Enter your mobile phone number and your victim’s number
6. Select Next
7. You will then receive a text message that asks you to confirm your purchase. Reply Y to this message.

By text messaging:

1. Select the prank you want from the WEB or WAP site
2. Find the prank ID which you will find before each prank in the list.
3. Text the prank ID, then a space, then 10-digit phone number of the victim to 62889. You can enter up to 3 phone numbers separated by a space.
4. You will then receive a text message confirming the prank charge. Reply Y to this message.
